Josh Jacobs opened the Gulf States office of Marcus & Millichap as First Vice President of Investments in the Fall of 2020. Formerly a Senior Director at Cushman and Wakefield’s Southeast office, Mr. Jacobs has comprehensive transaction experience throughout the Gulf States Sunbelt and has been recognized multiple times as a CoStar Power Broker Award Winner in recent years. Mr. Jacobs also finished 2022 as a national top 30 multifamily broker among 700+ Marcus & Millichap / IPA offices having sold over 3,500 units across 15 markets.
Throughout his career in Multi-Family Investment Sales, Mr. Jacobs has been involved in closing more than 350 transactions across multiple asset classes and locations, totaling over 55,000 apartments units and almost $5 billion in sales volume. Mr. Jacobs has successfully managed a wide variety of sales throughout Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Since opening his office two years ago, Mr. Jacobs has been involved in 100+ transactions totaling in excess of $1 billion in sales volume, and has been recognized as an M&M Chairman's Club honoree and National Achievement Award recipient for two years in a row.
Mr. Jacbos resides in Birmingham, Alabama with his wife and four young children.
