Shlomo Chopp is the Managing Partner of Case Equity Partners, with over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate investment and advisory. He has established a well-earned reputation for resolving distressed property and debt situations, repositioning assets, and creating value in complex scenarios.
The son of a computer programmer, Mr. Chopp's journey into commercial real estate began in 2003 with PropTech software sales to real estate finance brokerages. Since then, he has been involved in transactions totaling nearly $5 billion, spanning investments, structuring, and advisory roles.

In 2010, Mr. Chopp founded Case Property Services (CPS), a specialized firm assisting borrowers and guarantors with distressed real estate loans. Leveraging deep expertise in structured finance and CMBS, CPS excels at strategic analysis and fostering proactive lender-borrower communication to create leverage for clients.

Mr. Chopp is also part of a family office managing a diverse portfolio of ±70 properties across the U.S. His focus on value-add opportunities and distressed debt expertise extends across the capital stack, including bonds, loans, and properties.

Beyond real estate, Mr. Chopp holds four patents in shopping center innovation, e-commerce, and fulfillment. His invention, retailOS™, integrates physical and digital retail experiences, enhancing shopping center value and operational profitability.
