Prior to becoming Managing Director, Mr. Agee served as Vice President and Senior Advisor of the SVN Multi Housing Group. Ted C. Jones is the Chief Economist – Senior Vice President for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Previously, he served as the First Director of Investor Relations for Stewart Information Services Corporation NYSE-STC for 17 years, ending March 2014. Currently, Mr. Jones addresses the information needs of internal and external customers, conducts on-going research and supports economic and financial analysis for the company and its customers. Jones earned a PhD in finance with a minor in statistics and a Master’s degree in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University.

Prior to joining Stewart, Mr. Jones served as Chief Economist at Texas A&M University’s Real Estate Center, the nation’s largest publicly funded real estate research group. Before that, he authored and taught the valuation and appraisal section of the Bachelor of Commerce in Valuation and Property Management at Lincoln College, University of Canterbury near Christchurch, New Zealand. An internationally recognized real estate expert, Mr. Jones has completed appraisals and property analysis in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the U.S.

Mr. Jones' recognized specialty is applied real estate research. He has completed numerous mass-appraisal assignments including more than $3 Billion of income-producing property owned by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, retail properties, hotels, motels, offices, commercial land, Multi-Family housing, residences and numerous other special use properties. He completed a study on the impact of the Resolution Trust Corporation on real estate values and testified before the Oversight Board. His expert witness testimony has included analysis and evaluation of a solid rocket missile and carbon fiber plant, hydro, gas and coal-fired electric utilities and co-generation plants, an internal pipe coating plant in Scotland servicing the North Sea oil and gas production, and arguments on the treatment of deferred income taxes in the valuation of regulated public utilities. He has consulted The Boeing Company on property valuation issues relating to ad valorem property taxes at Boeing’s diverse aerospace and aircraft manufacturing plants in Washington.

An accomplished speaker, he typically gives more than 150 presentations on real estate and the economic outlook each year. Trained for years at one of the world’s largest law firms, Mr. Schechtman has personally sold more than 904 deals representing more than $9 billion in his eighteen-year career to date. Recognized as an industry “Titan,” “Power Broker”, “Jack of all Trades” and one of the “25 Most Visible New York City Real Estate Players” by the Commercial Observer, The Mann Report and The Real Deal, respectively, Mr. Schechtman is regularly engaged by private families, institutions, lenders, estate lawyers and their counsel and advisors to value, market and see through to closing the sale of Multi-Family properties, development sites, buildings ripe for repurposing, retail condominiums and co-ops, unsold shares, and loft office and industrial buildings throughout New York City. Mr. Schechtman has also represented more than 25 lenders in the disposition of performing and defaulted notes and assets in Chapter 11, Section 363 Sales.
Prior to joining Meridian, he held the position of Principal and Executive Managing Director at Eastern Consolidated, where he was named “Broker of the Year” on multiple occasions. Prior to Eastern, Mr. Schechtman was a practicing attorney at DLA Piper in New York, where he specialized in commercial and property-related bankruptcy and litigation.

Mr. Schechtman holds a J.D. from the Benjamin Cardozo School of Law where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and a B.A. from University of Delaware. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Commercial Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York and several other boards and charities. Mr. Silverman was also a Founder of St. James Capital, LLC, a Bloomfield Hills, MI based FHA-approved lender specializing in multifamily residential housing financial services. In 2012, St. James Capital was sold to Pillar Multifamily, LLC, an affiliate of Guggenheim Partners, LLC, and in 2016 the business was sold to SunTrust Banks, Inc. From 1995 through 2010, Mr. Silverman was the President and then non-executive Chairman of RentGrow, Inc. In 2010, RentGrow was sold to Yardi Systems, Inc. Before joining RentGrow, Mr. Silverman was a Founder and Principal in St. James Mortgage Company, a Fannie Mae-approved residential mortgage banker. From 1991 to 1994, he directed and implemented the company’s retail expansion into Massachusetts and New Hampshire and managed operations in those states. In 2002, he became a founding non-executive director of Leader Bank in Arlington, MA.

Mr. Silverman graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 1985 with an AB in Mathematics. He is currently the Chair of the Advisory Board for the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. In 1991, Mr. Silverman earned the degree of Master of Science in Management, with a concentration in Finance, from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Cambridge, MA. He is an active alumnus of MIT, where he currently serves on the board of the MIT Museum.

Prior to joining GREA in 2021, Mr. Topping worked at Newmark where he was responsible for Multi-Family brokerage and advisory services and was involved in more than $2 Billion in Multi-Family brokerage sales.  He spent the first five years of his career as co-leader of the National Net Lease Group in the SRS Atlanta office and was involved in retail transactions totaling more than $1.5 billion in 44 states.

Mr. Topping attended the University of South Carolina where he received his BBA in Investment Finance and Real Estate.

As President of GFI Realty, Mr. Weiser has taken his unique and broad experience and built teams with deep market knowledge and comprehensive understanding of the capital stack.
